Cooling Performance
A single IceProbe can cool 10 gallons of water 6ºF to 8ºF below ambient air temperature in an uninsulated plastic reservoir. Multiple IceProbes can be used in a single reservoir to achieve higher temperature differentials.
Much higher temperature differentials can be achieved by thoroughly insulating the exterior reservoir surfaces. For example, a single IceProbe can maintain a temperature differential of over 20ºF in a fully insulated 10 gallon reservoir.
